Who Can Enter

 

1.   Entrants must be legal Minnesota or Wisconsin residents who are 13 years of age or older and have lawful access to the Internet and a valid e-mail address.

 

2.   Employees of Fox Television Stations, Inc., Border Foods Companies, COPYCATS Media, Masters Recording, and Twin Town Guitars (collectively, “Sponsor”), their affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate family members of each are ineligible.

 

How to Enter

 

3.   No purchase is necessary to enter. You may enter only once per hour per person. The giveaway begins when posted on June 25, 2009, and all entries must be received by 11:59 PM CT on July 29, 2009 (the “Giveaway Period”).  The Giveaway Period shall consist of weekly drawings from among valid entries received for that week’s entries each Thursday through the following Wednesday as follows:

 

1st Week’s drawing entries must be received between Noon June 25 and July 1 11:59 pm;

2nd Week’s drawing entries must be received between Noon July 2 and July 8 11:59 pm;

3rd Week’s drawing entries must be received between Noon July 9 and July 15 11:59 pm;

4th Week’s drawing entries must be received between Noon July 16 and July 22 11:59 pm

5th Week’s drawing entries must be received between Noon July 23 and July 29 11:59 pm

 

4.   To enter, during the Giveaway Period access the on-line entry form at www.myfox9.com and follow all instructions to vote for a listed band in the Cravingstogo.com Battle of the Bands 2. By registering you are automatically registered to receive instant prizes from Cravingstogo.com. Each vote will count as one entry into that week’s drawing.  Entries from previous week’s drawings will not be carried over into the following weeks’ drawings.  No mechanically addressed, reproduced, or completed entries will be accepted. 

 

5.   Sponsor is not responsible for error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware, or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry, winner(s) or other giveaway information by Sponsor or entrants for any reason whatsoever.  Sponsor is also not responsible for any injury or damage to any entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any materials in the giveaway or for entries that are late, misdirected or incomplete.  All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned.  CAUTION:  ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATIONS OF THE GIVEAWAY IS A VIOLATION OF THE CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.  Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or revise the giveaway if it becomes technically or otherwise corrupted.

 

6.   One winner will be selected by random drawing from among valid entries on or about every Thursday of each week of the Giveaway Period. In addition, two “bonus winners” will be selected, on or about July 30, 2009, by random drawing from a combined pool of all entries received during the 4th and 5th week. Instant prize winners will also be awarded through out the Giveaway Period to entrants selected at random.

 

The Prizes

 

7.    Each week’s winner will receive Pizza Hut Wing Street Wings for a year (consisting of one – 20 piece order per month over a period of 12 months for a total of 12, 20-piece Pizza Hut Wing Street orders) from Pizza Hut.  Approximate retails value is $161.88. One “bonus prize” winner will receive one years’ supply of DVDs (for a total of 12 DVDs). DVD’s are selected at Sponsor’s discretion. The approximate retail value of bonus prize #1 is $216. The other “bonus prize” winner will receive one year of movies at The Theatres at Mall of America™ for 2 (for  total of 24 passes for 2 to The Theatres at Mall of America.) Not valid with other offers, discounts or coupons. Only valid at Theatres at Mall of America. Not valid for VIP theatre, 3D films, D-BOX seats or special engagements. The approximate retail value of “bonus prize” #2 is $456.00.  

 

8.    The number of instant prize winners is based on the total number of valid votes. Based on the number of total entries approximately 12% of voters will receive a free taco from Taco Bell, 12% of voters will receive a Croissonic from Sonic, 12% of voters will receive a Hershey’s Chocolate Dunkers from Pizza Hut, 12% or voters will receive an order of tator-tots from Sonic, 12% of voters will receive Extra Cravings Club Points, and 40% will receive a free download of one song from one of the 15 Battle of the Bands finalists.  The approximate retail value of instant prizes is less than $­­5.

 

9.    Winners will be notified by email.  Winners must complete, sign and return a Certification of Eligibility and Release, which must be received within 14 days of notification.  If a winner is a minor, then the winner's parent or guardian must also sign the minor’s Certification of Eligibil­i­ty and Release before the winner receives his or her prize. 

 

10.  If a winner does not respond to notification or does not timely return the Certification of Eligibility and Release, that prize will be awarded to an alternate winner who will be selected by random drawing. 

 

11.  Prizes can not be redeemed for cash or substituted for any other items by the winners.  The winners cannot assign or transfer prize.  Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a comparable prize of like or greater value, including cash, for any prize, for any reason. 

 

12.  The winners are responsible for paying all local, county, state, and federal taxes on prizes based on the estimated retail value of the prizes as set forth in these rules.

 

13.  Only one prize will be awarded per household.  Individuals are eligible to win only one prize within any 60-day period, excluding “instant prizes,” regardless of the number of giveaways entered.  Winners must claim the prizes by August 19, 2009, or that prize will be forfeited.

 

Odds of Winning; Miscellaneous

 

14.  Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.

 

15.  These rules are available Monday through Friday during normal business hours at KMSP-TV, 11358 Viking Drive, Eden Prairie, MN 55344, and at www.myfox9.com, through July 29, 2009.

 

16.   For a list of prize winners, send a separate, self-addressed, stamped envelope to:  KMSP-TV, 11358 Viking Drive, Eden Prairie, MN 55344, after August 12, 2009.

 

17.   By entering, entrants represent that they are eligible and agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges, and to release Sponsor, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by any prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize, and (c) to Sponsor’s use of participants’ personal information as described in Sponsors’ respective Privacy Policies located at www.fox9.com and cravingstogo.com. 

 

18.   This giveaway is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited or restricted by law, including without limitation, in jurisdictions requiring registration, filing, trust account, or posting of a bond, or any other requirements or disclosures that are not expressly satisfied by these rules.  Sponsor is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, offering, or administration of the giveaway, or in the announcement of the prize.
